What do y'all consider a bestie cause ffff

IDK it's like the word aint matching up with some of these descriptions and scenarios in here. The only time I've gone months without speaking to someone is if we had some type of fallout. Yeah people get "busy" but honestly if you really wanna make time for someone you can.

If I'm really close to you and you're in my circle like that we're gonna be constantly communicating whether I deem you my bestie or not.

IDK maybe I take the term too literal. Y'all besties just sound like homeboys and homegirls y'all chill with every now and then.     

well for me

We've both gotten into our careers and have found significant others. The things I used to share with her, I share with someone else now.

And it's the same for her. Eventually you just have less things to talk about.

Still my girl though. 

Of course the dynamic of your relationship will change as you get older and life changes but isn't the main thing about having a bestie is being able to talk about stuff you can't with no on else?   

I don't really think I have a "bestie" but I have a certain friend that I share all my tea whether I'm in a relationship or not.

Everyone just has a different view on relationships because I could not talk to this girl for a year and I'd still consider her family at this point.

There isn't a single person on this earth that i trust more.

But honestly friends as a whole can be draining and those are the ones I can't really fuck with.. Like emotional friends.. I hate them.. They take too much out of me

Yea... I dont have to lay up on the phone with somebody every day to prove my love and loyalty to them.  That stage in my life is over... and all of my friends pretty much get that, but I get where both sides are coming from. People grow up, people get families, people get busy.... but that friendship never dies. However... I feel like people make time for what they care about. Thats why sometimes even if I'm sleepy and dont feel like fucking talking on the phone (I hate talking on the phone), I still pick up.... just so you'll know I care.

But I'll text all day though.

Honestly, I feel like the only reason I hate talking on the phone is because I give people my FULL attention. If I'm texting, I can still see wtf is happening on Hollywood Divas.

no, in my case its just that we live in two different areas, and over time, situations/circumstances can change in a hurry. But over the years up until now, we'd built a bond SO close that not even a few weeks or a couple months could really destroy it. When you truly understand each other's quirks and LIFE to a certain extent, you rarely take things personal and literally just pick up where you left off and catch each other up on all the changes and new happenings that have gone on while you were apart.

Im not saying its a fun little habit to ignore each other for 5-6 weeks at a time as if it's routine  just that it isn't necessary to talk every day either, because we've been there done that. Its how we built the bond we have now in the first place. I wouldn't hate an every day thing, but i dont need it either.
