Title: Official Workout Thread (motivation, diet & eating tips, excercise tips, etc.)
Post by: charlie. on May 03, 2016, 02:17:10 PM
I know we had one before on the old board.

It really motivated me a bit to keep at it. Time for a new one.

Seeing topics like this only remind me that ive been a customer of Beachbody since high school  :plzstop: Insanity, T25, les mills Combat, and now Insanity Max 30. Variety is the key tbh. You'll get bored soon so think about incorporating different things. I dont think anyone needs to tell you to stay hydrated.

Legion Pulse (pre-workout drink)

Creatine mixed with water during

After workout
BCAA is good
And Whey Protein

:rthosehotwings: vitamins & supplements dont hurt either.

I keep it simple tbh.

I do cardio everyday. And I rotate working out my arms and legs.

I use perfect pushup, dumbells, and ab roller. (and treadmill for cardio)
I don't go to the gym so I take what I can get. lol

Always wanted to try a pre-workout but I've never really felt like I needed one.

If I'm not feeling up to it I'll pop a caffeine tab and punch.

They are and cleaning the smell out of the cup is the PITS.

I'll take some pills for a detox every now and then but I mostly stick to good old cadrio/plyo and weight training. People expect way too much from a supplement.

Protein shakes are overrated. I guess it depends on how big u wanna get

They are and cleaning the smell out of the cup is the PITS.

I'll take some pills for a detox every now and then but I mostly stick to good old cadrio/plyo and weight training. People expect way too much from a supplement.

What did you put them in?

I use blender bottle. Even if I use an actual blender I still put it in here afterwards.

I've never tried protein (I like the size I am). I have done creatine a few times though

:dead: its not going to make you gain unless you're taking in a lot and pushing really heavy weights.
I've remained track running size since High School.

its not steroids sdskdkjff

I heard it's better to drink them before you workout anyway versus after you workout.

Yeah Complete Nutrition gave me that bottle for free after I bought some pills. The smell at the bottom of the cup <  :uhh:

The only thing I drink now is some vortex preworkout powder and then right after I chug down on frozen ice water.

I prefer morning workouts too. I've been trying to go after work since I wake up at 5am. But my energy is always SHOT by the time I get off and then I have to rush home, shower, have dinner, then go right back out the door to school. I was thinking about doing a p90x or insanity thing so I can just do it at home and save time. Ugh. summer body 2017 I guess :melmel:

I try to limit my mess to fruit and chug some ice water to stay hydrated.

I used to eat about 5/6 times a day but I got really tired of having to prep and I'm not really much of a grocery shopper.

Protein shakes are overrated. I guess it depends on how big u wanna get

They are and cleaning the smell out of the cup is the PITS.

I'll take some pills for a detox every now and then but I mostly stick to good old cadrio/plyo and weight training. People expect way too much from a supplement.

I JUST CLEANED MINE TODAY BECAUSE I FORGOT TO EMPTY FROM 5 DAYS AGO AND OMFFFGGGGGG I ALMOST DIED

fhhhvvvvvv

That's why I don't trust the shit.

Why does it smell so fckn BAD?

well protein is what makes it smell bad thats why milk goes bad

Bor must focus more on weight and strength training than other mess to be eating like that.

And don't you hate when your stomach starts boiling right in the middle of a workout when your clothes are glued to you because of all the sweat?  :hmph:

I love plyo and cardio. It just sends my stamina and energy levels through the roof.

It seems to work better for sculpting and toning my body than lifting heavy did. All that mess did was give me stretch marks.

:mmyulost:

I had to tone it down. Now I just lift lighter but go for more reps.

it really depends on your metabolism

don't complain cause you don't see them gainz if you stay perched on a treadmill.
Again, what works for others won't work for you.

I don't know what to do with them and I'm not much of a cook.

I get a quick sear on all my meats and finish them off in the oven.

My sides are mostly brown rice and sometimes yellow. A little corn & brown sugar carrot mess.

I'm tired of eating the same mess all the time.

I don't know what to do with them and I'm not much of a cook.

I get a quick sear on all my meats and finish them off in the oven.

My sides are mostly brown rice and sometimes yellow. A little corn & brown sugar carrot mess.

I'm tired of eating the same mess all the time.

Don't buy em frozen. FRESH!
And just throw em in some boiling water for 2 min. Not too long.
They have to stay crunchy.

So many people hate brown rice, but I actually don't mind it. Just sprinkle some salt, pepper, and a lil olive oil. And I usually just mix it with whatever veggies I'm eating.
