okay so i dont remember when i made the initial thread but.. i told you guys i kinda thought that my barber liked me but i didnt wanna fuck up a good thing because hes a dope ass barber...


well we started hanging out, first with his friends a lot at like bars and sports games...


slowly but surely we started to venture off and hang out by ourselves also. whether it was right before or right after meeting up with his guy friends... the more we hung out and closer we got AS FRIENDS i noticed he became a lot more defensive for me... like no sly or overly rude jokes were to be made about me or if he felt like i would take offensive.. he would NIP it in the bud and i would be like
:ermm: "you aint have to do that.. i can take a joke and if it goes too far i can handle myself." and he would be like "nah, fuck that you my homeboy, and i started bringing you around so imma make sure you comfortable." or something to that extent

so im like  :ohwow: "okay then!" but since he was so hell bent on using the term "homeboy, homie, brodie, etc." i chalked it up as strictly friends and i didnt wanna fuck it up because by this point he was giving me free haircut every now and again... so i was like yeah.. let me chill


but my birthday was at the end of july.. and so he like a week later he asked did i wanna go out because he was out of town the weekend of my birthday.. so i was like cool.. im thinking we were about to go meet up with his boys and drink but we pulled up to the movie theater.. and im like " :uhh: its just me and you?" and hes like "yeah... i really wanna see suicide squad, you dont wanna be here or something" and i was like "no its nothing like that i was just suprised"

*we had a quick convo here about him not being ashamed to be seen in public or hang out with me as if i already didnt know*...

the movies just feels a lot more intimate for two guys that are just friends to be going..but whatev.. we go in.. he buys the tickets... i INSIST on buying the popcorn and drinks because.. yea i just do! lol i bought to separate popcorns *REMEMBER THIS PART*

so all is good, we are like half way through the movie... then he starts getting on his phone alot at this point.. so i think nothing of it because im really into the movie... all of a sudden i get a text saying
"you know you couldve just got one big pop corn and we coulda just shared.. what you think i got cooties or sumn?"
so im straight up looking like at this point:

and i cant help it but i go into complete flirt mode and i text him back and say "lol you probably do...idk!!"
and we both laugh a bit and just started watching the movie again..

~another twenty minutes go by and i get another text but i didnt see him take his phone out so i knew he wasnt the one texting me... so i just was like ill get to it once the movies was over..

Yall!!! he tapped me and was like... "you know your phone went off right" im thinking like "nigga, how you hear my phone on vibrate :uhh:" so im like fuck it ill just check it... but ill do it fast because i was into the movie!! (i like movies :dead:) so i check it and ts from him and it says "would you think it was weird if i asked to hold your hand?"

so the movie ends and we are headed to go to the bars with his friends.. and we start having a quick convo about what happened in the movie... and hes just saying he didnt know why but he felt compelled to hold my hand and that he feels really close to me.. im not really saying much but an occasional "oh.. wow.. really...aww.. cool." because im trying to play it cool but inside im fucking losing it..
so then we start talking about what i did for my actual birthday night... because he always thinks that i have a bunch a guys that wanna be with me(hes right, but i pay them no mind) so im like "i spent my birthday night lonely as fuck i got no action!"...

so I kid you not... he looks at me like:

he immediatley picks up his phone to call his boys and made some bs excuse why we werent meeting them at the bar anymore... im like why you lie to them and say that... and he says hes changing the plans...10 mins late we pull up at his house

but my birthday was at the end of july.. and so he like a week later he asked did i wanna go out because he was out of town the weekend of my birthday.. so i was like cool.. im thinking we were about to go meet up with his boys and drink but we pulled up to the movie theater.. and im like " :uhh: its just me and you?" and hes like "yeah... i really wanna see suicide squad, you dont wanna be here or something" and i was like "no its nothing like that i was just suprised"

so then we start talking about what i did for my actual birthday night... because he always thinks that i have a bunch a guys that wanna be with me(hes right, but i pay them no mind) so im like "i spent my birthday night lonely as fuck i got no action!"...

Actually this was my first time doing it ever..

As I said before lol.. Because he was identifying as straight at a point... I felt the need to make sure this wasn't some game of front he was putt on on with me. We aren't in a relationship but we are strongly considering one.. And this will be my first time in a situation like this. so like 3wks ago me and Matt got into a argument.

at this point we were definitely more than friends and fck buddies. he had stuff at my apartment and i had things at his place also..

so one day, i believe it was a Wednesday or Thursday,he told me to be dressed by a certain time, he was coming to get me and we were going out to dinner. So im nervous because he wasnt giving me any detail and usually when he gets like this he has something tricky up his sleeve... but still excited.

so im tryin to dress for anything. didnt want to be too dressy or too casual. so i end up putting on a nice dress shirt and nice fitted jeans. he picks me up like 20mins late... i shouldve known then something wasnt quite right because he's EXTREMELY punctual. so i get in the car and he looks frustrated.

i ask..."so now that im dressed and in the car, can you tell me where we are going?" trying to break the ice or start a convo.. i felt awkward.

i get to the table. introduce myself. and the first lady who is older is like "Hi Nice to me you. Im ____, His mom.. this is his sister,___ and his dad,___.

so dinners over... im pissed, i pack up most of my food (lost my appetite) i pay for my food and tell him im gonna step outside to take a phone call while they were still at the table talking... but i really just didnt want to sit there and risk getting asked more questions.

as im outside they all come out as they are walking to their car and they give me a hug and say "nice to finally meet you"

me and him get in the car. im livid.. im not saying anything, i just want him to drop me off at home.

so i finally say "i just wanna go home! i dont wanna be here anymore!" and he says hes not taking me until we get to the bottom of it. so i just order an uber... when it pulls up i go outside to get in the car he comes to his front door and says "if you leave now, dont worry about coming back" i turned around and told him he had me fucked up... and got in the car and left... i got home and he tried calling like 2hrs later.. i ignored it he called like up until 4am and then i guess he fell asleep because the calls just stopped :kii: then 4 or 5 days went by and we hadnt spoken

longest 5 days of my fckn life.. i missed him so much. but im a prideful person. especially when i know im right.. dont hold your breath thinking im gonna come to you or try to resolve with you... ill just deal with the shit until i dont feel it anymore (i know, its bad.. its something ive got to work on)

so yea hadnt spoke with him for a min on the last day.. he stopped by my job on my lunch and was like can we go sit down and talk.. if you say dont want to, i wont bother you again... so i was trying to act
like i didnt want to but inside i didnt want to lose him...

so i give in and we go to a little coffee shop and sit to talk. he starts telling me that he had a rough day that day and he was planning on coming out to his family that night, so he was nervous and anxious but when he got to the table he froze up and didnt do what he planned to do...i told him that even if that was his plan it was still bogus to not let me in on it.. or give me a heads up because i was blindsided... he said he wanted it to be a surprise and that he thought it would make me happy. i made sure to explain to him that i was happy ans supportive in his choice if he was ready but just would like a heads up in dire situations like that and for him to not be an ass... he agreed and apologized for everything.. i apologized for blowing up and the whole "OUT" comment i made at his place. he gave me a hug and started telling me how hard the past couple of days were without us speaking or seeing each other and for the first time he told me he loved me. thats it.

"is there something wrong? did i upset you or something, because if this was how you were gonna act all night you couldve left me at home and i couldve ordered Chinese food."

hes looking at me like he wants to curse me out. im wishing he would try it. but all he says is "Yo, will you chill out?"

so to contain myself i get up and go to bathroom. im in the bathroom trying to make sure im not overreacting because I had NEVER seen him act like the way he was...so im trying to get my attitude together. i was in there for like 10 mins.. i go out to the table and theres two ladies and a man there. NEVER seen them before.

i get to the table. introduce myself. and the first lady who is older is like "Hi Nice to me you. Im ____, His mom.. this is his sister,___ and his dad,___.

Hey, so I thought he was gonna drop me off at home. Given the situation and the attitude he displayed, I didn't think he wanted to be bothered with me enough for me to spend the night.. when he started joking and mess, I was already in the car.

I didn't want to talk about it right then because I was extremely pissed and I know how I get. I don't really think about the weight of my words before I say them when I get to that point.. so I try to stay quiet, digest the situation and then come back when I'm able to MATURELY discuss my feelings like a grown up. I know myself, and that's how I choose to handle situations when I get to that point. He kinda didn't leave me room for that when we pulled up to his house. I called an uber because he said he wasn't taking me home. And I knew, even now I'm happy I did because there is no telling what i would've said if I stayed there trying to talk it out. I could've said something that I would've not been able to come back from.

hey guys bit of an update and maybe a lil story time for ole time sakes nnn later (idk how interesting itll be to yall) but heres kinda whats been going on with us
On the 11th of this Month me and Matt will have made 7months.
-I moved into his place last month
-We're planning to get a dog soon lol
and just being completely honest this is the hardest ive ever worked in a relationship. we both have our flaws for instance from previous relationships and experience, we've come to find out that i can be guarded and stand offish, with him it can be his anger lol (he's NEVER threatened or hit me guys lol so dont worry) but he beats the shit of this punching bag he has in the house and works out when he gets mad.. but we're working on it because he never really communicates why hes mad or whats bothering him... he just explodes sometimes... with this he's also protective i think ive told yall that but the closer we've gotten, its almost too much at times.. where ill literally have to tell him to chill. but hes like that with his mom, sis and dad too.. but still we're working on him chilling out. (they all love me by the way... i call his mom "mama" now and his dad "papa dukes" lol)

hes become very affectionate lol, surprisingly im not the more affectionate one.. ive found out on the inside hes the hugest punk lol he's always under me or doing something cute...(sometimes he does read through the posts on here with me or ill tell him about stuff on here. i think his faves are vonc and pons going back and forth :dead: and he likes the shitlist threads smh)

yeah but overall.. this has been REAL work, its not a fairy tale but i wouldnt change a damn thing nor do i regret anything. i love him, truly do. i wanna spend the rest of my life with him.

and just being completely honest this is the hardest ive ever worked in a relationship. we both have our flaws for instance from previous relationships and experience, we've come to find out that i can be guarded and stand offish, with him it can be his anger lol (he's NEVER threatened or hit me guys lol so dont worry) but he beats the shit of this punching bag he has in the house and works out when he gets mad.. but we're working on it because he never really communicates why hes mad or whats bothering him... he just explodes sometimes... with this he's also protective i think ive told yall that but the closer we've gotten, its almost too much at times.. where ill literally have to tell him to chill. but hes like that with his mom, sis and dad too.. but still we're working on him chilling out. (they all love me by the way... i call his mom "mama" now and his dad "papa dukes" lol)

hes become very affectionate lol, surprisingly im not the more affectionate one.. ive found out on the inside hes the hugest punk lol he's always under me or doing something cute...(sometimes he does read through the posts on here with me or ill tell him about stuff on here. i think his faves are vonc and pons going back and forth :dead: and he likes the shitlist threads smh)

yeah but overall.. this has been REAL work, its not a fairy tale but i wouldnt change a damn thing nor do i regret anything. i love him, truly do. i wanna spend the rest of my life with him.

Family Reunion Story

Lol so earlier this year.. me and Matt traveled to Natchez, Mississippi for his family reunion.

Hell. On. Earth.

needless to say he was upset..lolz, i was pretty set in my ways about not going until... his mom called and asked me to go.. i think he had her do it, because he knows i cant tell her no, usually (he wants me to put here that, thats not true.) whatever, back to what i was saying.. i was trying really hard to say no, she just was not going for it and she is just sooo sweet. so when we were all at his parent's house a day later, i was asking them more questions about the trip.. "how long was the ride?" "were we all riding together?" "where we were staying?' "did his family know about me and matt, we're they accepting?"  the whole NINE i was not about to get caught slipping this time... so they assure me that its all cool and that me, matt and his sis could ride together because his parents were going down 2 days before.. matt said that we were staying at the hotel and that his sister would probably stay with us and his parents were staying at the family's house.. and he says that the rest of his family is like his parents and sister.. i agree to all of this and im cool... the ride there was LIT.. Matt drove while me and sis drank :plzstop: it was lit.

we got there and went straight to the hotel. called his parents and told them we made it. got food and matt knocked out because he had been driving the whole time. me and baby sis, stayed up watching movies and talking..

next morning was the reunion. we get there and honestly everything felt okay. matts walking around introducing me to people as his "friend" which didnt bother me. every things  going good.. inside the house we meet his granny and she was so cool lol funny as shit too..we're sitting talking to her and matts cousins came in... they do the "long time, so see!!" "stranger" schpeel... grandma chimes in on this... and then she says "hell. i wanted to know who was keeping my baby away from me!"

while we're in the house..me and matt in there talking about what they were saying and im trying to assure him that im fine, the cousin comes in the room where we are and is like "i just came to check on my little princess." i laugh. matt no so much.

RIGHT!" so he mustve gotten in his feelings about that because that was the first time that i actually had responded to one of his remarks... and he says "you only wanted to play to touch on some dudes."

now its time to eat... the food was soooo good...me and matt were eating together but i guess at some point when i wasnt looking he got up. i called his phone but it was at the table. so i know he wasnt far. there was this 2 year old that i started playing with and feeding, she really took a liking to me.. her mom was like "i cant believe shes acting like that with you... she usually dont like strangers." so now its like 3 kids and we are all just playing in the yard.. so thats where my focus was.. i hadnt noticed that matt hadnt came back yet. like 20 mins later matt comes out.. and i can tell somethings happened.

he walks up to me and asks real quietly because the kids are there.. "Are you uncomfortable and do you wanna be here?"

i say im fine and hes like are you sure.. while we are talking matts mom and sister come out and matts mom is like "im sooo sorry that happened."

im confused AF.. i just ate good and at this point im having the time of my life running a mini daycare.
matt is like "ma just give me a sec."

matts like if you wanna go.. just say so and we can leave right now. i lowkey was ready but i felt bad because matt hadnt seen his grandma in like 3 years (i think that was the main point of the trip and why he wanted to go so bad) i didnt wanna be selfish by saying i was ready to go, so im like no really im fine we can stay. so i continue playing with the kids and matt is either right by me or watching like a hawk to see if anyone comes to say anything to me... about 25 mins go by and the cousin comes out of nowhere i guess one of the kids that were hanging outside with me was his... he comes and picks the lil boy up and tells him he needs to stay with him, mind you the whole day the lil boy has been running around free (i mean it is a family reunion and basically everyone there is family) but now all of a sudden the nigga wants to be dad of the year..


matt sees this and just yells... "THATS IT! Get your shit. We're leaving now, 'fore i break this retarded ass nigga's neck." (i later found out the cousin couldnt read :kii: ...so that was the sting) the cousin obviously heard.. he charges out the house yelling. him and matt are passing words at this point... well really its just the cousin because matt just kept saying real calmly "make me fuck you up in front of these kids.." so i knew matt was about to try to whoop his ass.. so i just say "Okay lets go!" i didnt even wanna argue with matt about staying at this point, it had already gone too far. hes like im about to unlock the door, tell my sister if shes coming with us we're leaving now. i get his sister and we get in the car. matts walking towards the car and at this point im not sure what was said because out of no where matt does a 180 and turns around and is walking back towards the cousin..the cousin pushes matt first and then matt spears the shit out of him.. like some shit you would see in WWE

finally get in the car and the sister fall asleep on the way to the hotel... me and matt start talking and hes calmed down a little bit but hes still upset. while we are talking i see a tear come down his face and he tries to play it off but i know he was cryin a little bit.. so we pulled up to the hotel and the sister goes up to the room we stay in the car talking.. i think that was the first time that he really got to see that everybody aint as accepting of the lifestyle now that hes IN IT. and i think he couldnt believe he had went that far with his dad..

the next day we went back to the house so he could apologize to his grandma, spend more time with her and say bye to everyone because we were leaving that night. he didnt speak to his dad while we were there but he talked to him on the way home.. me and his sister took turns driving back.. so matt could chill. yea dassit.
