And Flint is right outside of Detroit. It was a great opportunity to do some charity work and also add a new element to the show. If the show didn't play a part, they wouldn't have brought the cameras. So, again, they are CO-WORKERS!
Also, NONE of this negates the original point that Phaedra can work toward forgiveness with Kenya, but can also relapse when those original feelings surface about Kenya's role in the demise of her marriage.

The only thing Kenya was wrong for was texting her husband after she asked her to stop, which is why most of us, including myself were on Phaedra's side when it came to Kenya for most of Kenya's time on the show.
However, I don't fuck with Kenya, but I don't think she had malice with that party that was not ONLY for Phaedra, but Cynthia as well. Like I said last night, Phaedra still feels some kinda way about textgate, which is understandable. But my thing is don't sit up and befriend somebody knowing that you're not completely over it.
